If you mean by PPM the Portable Pixmap Utilities format, then you can save such files using any of our LEADTOOLS imaging toolkits.

About the capture part, you have 2 options: either use our Multimedia toolkit if the camera has a capture video source (driver) compatible with Windows DirectShow, or if it has a Twain driver, you also use our imaging toolkit without the need for the multimedia toolkit.

For more information about our Multimedia Toolkit, please refer to: http://www.leadtools.com/SDK/Multimedia/Multimedia-LE.htm

for more information about our Twain support , please refer to: http://www.leadtools.com/SDK/Raster/Raster-Scanning-Twain.htm
