bug in MagnifyGlass

Our imaging app allows a magnify tool wherein we set
rasterImageViewer.InteractiveMode = RasterViewerInteractiveMode.MagnifyGlass. There is a bug occuring, similar to incident 6066IDT I reported regarding PanViewer. While magnifying, the underlying image is being drawn unscaled and positioned at the upper left. This obviously means that what is magnified is not what's under the mouse cursor, since the image may be at a different scale factor and/or centered within the rasterImageViewer.

We are currently using v15 with the patch from 07-24. I retested with the unpatched v15 and it worked fine, so it has been broken by some patch.

Hello,

If you check the same issue using any of the LEADTOOLS .Net main demos that ship with the setup, do you notice the same behavior?

Do you face this problem with any image or with specific images?

Is it possible to send me a sample image that demonstrates the problem?

However, we have newer patches for LEADTOOLS v15.

To obtain the latest patches, please send your LEADTOOLS v15 SDK serial number to support@leadtools.com and ask about the latest LEADTOOLS v15 patches.

Note: please mention this forum in your email to support.

Thanks,
Maen Badwan

I checked the Document Cleanup app and did not see the bug, but that is not .NET.

I have attached a simple project that demonstrates the problem.

I have already tried the 8-20 patch but our app would not even load without crashing, so I reverted back to 7-24. Besides, I am waiting resolution on this problem, as well as incidents 5904AMN and 6066IDT, and until they are resolved we don't have much reason to risk new patch bugs like this one.

I have checked your project and verified the issue with the MagnifyGlass. I need to check this using the latest patches from our engineers before I report it, and I will let you know if it occurs also in the latest patches.

Hello,

I rechecked the same issue using the latest LEADTOOLS v15 .Net patch (8_30). It seems the problem is fixed in the latest .Net patch.

Please send your serial number to support@leadtools.com and ask about the latest LEADTOOLS .Net v15 patch. Also, don't forget to mention this forum in your email to support.

Thanks,
Maen Badwan
