LEAD Network Sink Filter Question
Reply Quote
I have a question about the LEAD Network Sink Filter.

In Graphedit, if I do something like this:

Video Capture -> Network Multiplexer -> Network Sink

Can I take the URL that I am sinking the video into (i.e. udp://localhost:27000) and play in live in Windows Media Player?

If so, how can I type an URL into the Network Sink path in Graphedit?  Everytime I try it says that the path isn't valid...I've tried things like:

udp://127.0.0.1:27000
ltsf://127.0.0.1:27000

The filter in Graphedit rejects everything I try to type in...I want to see if I can run the graph above and then connect to it with Windows Media Player externally to stream it live.

Thanks,

E

Hello,

I tried it out and I get the same error with it.  I think it is something with GraphEdit and putting URLs in the dialog box.  I have submitted this to the engineers, and they will get back to me on it.  Right now they are out of the office for the holidays and will have to wait until they come back from the break.

Hello,

My manager got back to me on this and he did confirm that GraphEdit does not allow URLs to be specified in the dialog box.  So the Sink/Source filters can only be used programmatically.
