08-21-2008, 5:25 MHildebrandt Joined on 08-21-2008 Posts 2 SHP-files, better support Hi, we´ve been working with LEADTools for a lot of years now (bought them here in Germany) and am trying to expand the use to reading SHP-files into our application. Unfortunately Vector Tools doesn´t read the DBFs that are coming with them. (Tried 11,13,14.5) This doesn´t have to be a problem, since we´re working in Visual FoxPro anyway and so reading the DBFs is daily business, BUT Leadtools don´t seem to read the tags, that link the SHP-items to the DBF-items so we can´t really say where to put the connected data. The link is missing..... This is poor functionality. So the question is: Is there any way to access this tags? Are there any plans for the future to put this tags into the vector-structure somewhere (plenty of fields that would be suitable for the purpose)? It would make the SHP-file support really usuable.
