Can H.264 decoder work with field-encoded H.264 data streams?

I'm not really sure what you mean by "Field-encoded H.264 data streams". Do you mean that you have a stream that you would like to use our H.264 encoder to encode it?

Can you please give me more details on your requirement?

No. There is a device which receives analog videosignal (PAL or NTSC) and encodes it. Two modes of coding are supported by device: frame coding and field coding. It's need to play encoded data (MP4 file) on PC. Question is: can LEAD H.264 decoder be used to decode video track from file when field mode coding was used by device?

Does this mean the 2 fields (half frames) are encoded separately? If yes, the documentation of our decoder does not mention this feature explicitly, but if this type of encoding is within the standard H264, it should work with our decoder.

In fact, the documentation of some of our other codecs does mention this. For example, our LEAD MPEG-2 Encoder enables selecting coding type of either Frame or Field (for interlaced video). This means our MPEG-2 decoder definitely supports it.

If you don't have our decoder, please download the free evaluation version form our website at www.leadcodecs.com

Evaluation version does not work. A message box is displayed after start of media player: "LEAD ISO Demultiplexer Eval Notice. A runtime license is required ..."

This is the codec evaluation notice that gets displayed when you use our codec. This should not be displayed if you decided to purchase.
