In talking with technical support, we learned that LEAD is now moving away from the VCL and will no longer support it. However, there are those of us that wish to upgrade our programming environment without additionally upgrading expensive third party libraries. We would like to move to Delphi 2009 and still use our v14.5 LEAD controls. Unforturnately, since only the BPLs are available, this means we would have to build our own packages from the ActiveX contros, etc. This is obviously problamatic.
Is it possible to get the source for the VCL packages, type libraries, etc.? It would be infinitely easier to update the 2007 libraries than to attempt to start from scratch. Forgive my ignorance, but I can't think of any reason why this would not be available, since they are just the interfaces to the DLL's.
Thanks in advance.
