Multimedia SDK 15 and VS 2008 problem [VERY URGENT]
Reply Quote
I'm using Miltimedia SDK v.15 and VS 2008. Prior to using VS 2008 I was using VS 2005 and everything was working like a charm. Now when we moved to 2008 I get some problems.
When I execute the following line:
ltmmConvert = new ltmmConvertClass();
the application stops responding and eventually crashes. Again it was fine in VS 2005.
We're runnng VISTA 32-bit Ultimate SP1.
I know that there are updated for the SDK v.15 but I'm not sure if these updates fix the above issue. In any case the file version of the Interop.LTMMLib.dll file that we're using is 1.0.0.0
This problem is very urgent.

Regards,
Zorik

Interop.LTMMLib.dll is generated by Visual Studio so it will always have the same version number.  What is your version of ltmm15.dll?  Also delete Interop.LTMMLib.dll and then rebuild the app.

My version of ltmm15.dll is 15.1.0.2.
BTW when I try to run your GenerateAVI example in VS 2008 I get the exception while executing the same call:

ltmmConvert = new ltmmConvertClass();

So looks like there is a problem or I'm using the old version of some dlls.

Thanks.

Our current version is 15.1.0.29.  If you send an email to support@leadtools.com I can send you the latest DLL.  Most likely your DSKernel2.dll is old also, so I'll send that too.  In your email mention this post and we'll send the DLLs over.
