L_VecSetScale changes arc to closed polyDraw

Thanks for your help :-)

It works fine. However, I encountered another issue: when I applied L_VecSetScale on VECTORARC, the object was changed to VECTORPOLYDRAW. It would be fine, but the polydraw is closed - it should be open.

Hello Smoke,

Is this a continuation of the previous issue (http://support.leadtools.com/SupportPortal/CS/forums/29168/ShowPost.aspx), or is this a different issue you're having?

As far as I'm aware, the L_VecSetScale method should not change the vector object type. The object should look the same except for the size. If this is not the case, then it will need to be investigated.

If I have mis-interpreted what you are saying, please clarify exactly what the issue is so I can better assist you.

I want to first make sure that you have the latest builds for your version. Can you tell me what DLL build of LvKrn you have?

Hi,

It is different issue. I have Lvkrnu.dll version 16.5.0.1.

The issue is: I have VECTORARC object, I apply L_VecSetScale and the object is changed to VECTORPOLYDRAW. I think it could be correct, because when scale is different for axes X and Y then result object cannot be ARC any more. I see the problem that the POLYDRAW is closed.

Thanks for your help,

Smoke

Smoke,

As far as I am aware, this method shouldn't be converting the object type. Please post a small sample project (not your entire application) which isolates this issue so that I can look into this matter further. Small sample applications are generally one or two button forms that easily illustrate the issue.

When attaching a project or file to the forums, please do the following:
1.) Zip the file(s) up.
2.) Make sure it is less than 5 MB. If it is larger, please send an email to support@leadtools.com and we'll send you FTP instructions.
3.) Remove ANY AND ALL unlock codes and LEADTOOLS DLLs.
4.) Do not click the preview button, the attachment will not show up when you post it.

If you do not wish to post your file(s) on the forum since they are publically viewable, please send an email to support@leadtools.com and make sure that you include a link to this forum post.

Attached is testing project. It is console application, it loads vector file, which contains one ARC object. Then it applies scaling and save it as new file. In the result file you can see one original ARC and one POLYDRAW which is result of scaling.

In order to proceed further I need you to send an email to support@leadtools.com including the following information:

1. The company you work for
2. The LEADTOOLS serial number/numbers you own (if you are evaluating, just say so)
3. The name/names of the developer/developers using the serial number/numbers
4. A link to this forum post
