Photoshop no longer loads regular JPGs
Reply Quote
I just installed the Jpeg 2000 plugin and Photoshop (v7.01) no longer loads
regular JPGs.  No error message occurs, the image simply does not come up.
I am able to load .gif and .bmp files just fine.  I have restarted photoshop several
times.

I tried our JPEG2000 plug-in with Adobe PhotoShop 7 and it did not affect loading JPEG files.
You can temporarily remove our plug-ins by going to the following folder:
Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop 7.0\Plug-Ins\File Formats
And move the files named LEAD???.8BI to a different location. If you do that and restart PhotoShop, does JPEG work?
You can restore the plug-ins if you want by copying them back to this folder.

I zipped up the LEAD???.8BI files and you are right, it did not change the
fact that I cannot load JPEG files.   I'm certain that it worked before the install,
but at this point, I'm going to consider this a Photoshop issue and NOT the plugin.
Thanks very much for your help.
