01-10-2005, 5:20 strikewing16th@hotmail.com Joined on 01-10-2005 Posts 1 Forms Processing... Hello!! I'm trying out LeadTools' OCR functionality.. I was wondering if this OCR SDK includes support automatic recognition of form templates. I will make a template,(make zones) for each kind of form that i have.. And then when I input a filled-up form, my program will automatically recognize what template to use? Is this possible on LeadTools? Because i'm browsing thru your API functions and HELP files, and so far i don't there are no functions that clearly indicate this functionality...    Report

This is currently not available in LEADTOOLS, but we are working on adding it to LEADTOOLS 15.  It would be very helpful if you could send us some form templates to "support@leadtools.com" for us to work on. Does Leadtools v15 support automatic recognition of form templates??Do you support form template in this version? I've to do an application and we really need this funcionality, so I don't know if with your SDK I will be able to do that. Sorry for my bad english... Thanks in advance.    Report

Hello, We will be releasing V16 of our toolkit shortly, it will have Forms Recognition capability.  You will be able to provide a blank form(s) as reference, and you would run a comparison against that form to see if they are a close match.  We will have a sample demo which shows you how to do this once v16 comes out.
