12-07-2006, 8:05 GabrielG Joined on 12-06-2006 Posts 4 L_ColorResBitmap Issue? Hello, We are having the following issue with version 13 with it´s latest patch and Delphi 7. It happens when we load a bmp file and make some color conversions. If we run the app from the Delphi 7 IDE it works fine. If we run it standalone it fails. The dlls that are loaded at run time are the same than at debugging time. The problem ocurrs with some bitmap files. When we palettize them to 8bpp we get, for some pixels, a palette index thats not in the palette I attach a simple Delphi project and one of the images that generates the issue. With this image, at run time we get 255 consistently as a palette index for white but the palette value for index 255 is always 0. At debugging time we get the right index for white. In this case it´s index value is always 9). Many thanks Gabriel    Report

Hello, I checked your project and only found one problem, but it's not related to the original issue: L_GetFixedPalette(LRGBQuad2, 256); //should be 8 instead of 256 I will keep checking and let you know what I found out. Hello, I reported this issue (in LEADTOOLS v14.5) to our engineers under incident number 5294AMN, so that they can investigate more about this issue. This incident was fixed in the latest LEADTOOLS v14.5 patch. You need to download and install the latest LEADTOOLS v14.5 patches to get the fix. We currently have a version 13 license and my boss wants to do compatibility tests with the new version before upgrading. I know i can download the 14.5 trial for testing but i also need the patch (because of the L_ColorResBitmap issue) So, is there any way i can get the patch? Thanks Gabriel    Report
