Our Document Imaging toolkit
(without OCR) contains function for general document cleanup, such as deskew,
dot-remove and such.
About the OCR, which is part of
Document Imaging SUITE toolkit, you can define a zone that contains parts of
the image where you want to embed the image data exactly as is (no recognition
is performed), and you can then output to one of the formats that support
embedded images, like DOC and PDF. However, this will not give you the text
itself. This means you cannot save it to .TXT format.
