08-10-2007, 8:37 simone75 Joined on 07-18-2007 Posts 6 installation conflicts Hello, i'm using leadtools Document Imaging Suite 14.5 VCL EVAL and leadtools Document Imaging Suite 14.5 COM Eval with Delphi 2006. If i install only the VCL Eval all works fine but i need also the COM Eval because i must use the OCR funcionality but when i install it nothing works anymore. Every leadtools application i build and run tell me that it needs LTLST14N.DLL. How is it possible?I'm using the Eval VCL and EVAL Com versions so i've only LTLST14E.DLL. I've downloaded and installed in this order the setup files: 1) LEADTOOLSVCLEval14.exe [131 MB] 2) LEADTOOLSCOMEval14.exe [83 MB] Are they correct? Thank you very much. Simone    Report

08-13-2007, 14:13 Amin Joined on 06-27-2005 Posts 748 Re: installation conflicts Simone, In the evaluation edition of LEADTOOLS 14.5, you only need DLLs that have 14E instead of 14N in their file names. About the problem with using our COM objects in Delphi 2006, one problem I saw happened when I tried to import the LEAD Raster OCR Document type library into Delphi 10, and it worked, but not directly. It created the file LTRASTERDOCLib_TLB.pas in this folder: \Program Files\Borland\BDS\4.0\Imports However, it did not add it to the imported control's package, so I had to use "Add to project" and added it to this project: dclusr.bdsproj After that, I was able to use the OCR object with Delphi. If this doesn't solve the problems, please send an email to support@leadtools.com and mention this post, and I will send you an updated version of toolkit evaluation.
