This means that each AVI video might be different from each oter as you can have an AVI file that is compressed with H.264 or an AVI compressed with MPEG format. We do not have a specific video decoder that can work on all AVI files. However, If you have a small sample video that you can not play, you can send me this small video and I can check its internal compression and recommend  the one of our codec for tryouts and to see if it matches your needs.
