LEAD Support for DICOM Hanging Protocols?
Reply Quote
Hi there

are there any plans to introduce support for DICOM Hanging Protocols (standard Supplement 60, January 2005) in the near future?

This feature becomes increasingly popular.

Regards

We do not yet support this class IOD natively.  We only update our tables for IODs, tags, etc. every once in a while, usually major releases.  I do not think we'll be updating our Dicom but for another 6 months or so.

You CAN still add the IOD and any of its special tags and use it.  For the C++ CLIB interface, you would need to add the new Class IOD and any tags with the LDicomIOD and LDicomTag classes.  The hard part is that you'll need to refer to the Dicom specifications to get the definitions and everything required for that particular IOD, but it is still possible to use those kinds of classes within LEADTOOLS.
