04-02-2008, 6:37 RaviKumarPinjala Joined on 02-15-2008 Posts 22 MP3 Convertion HI, Can you please tell us what and all codecs we need to use to get the below target audio format by using MP3 as source file. 1) WAV 2) WMA 3) AMR 4) AWB 5) MP4 6) MMF 7) AAC 8) 3GP We are planning to buy Lead Mutimedia. we need to convert the above. So please give us the correct codec to use for each of the target format. It will be very helpful if you provide us the sample code to do that. Regards Ravi Kumar P    Report

04-03-2008, 2:01 Yasir Alani Joined on 02-05-2007 Posts 202 Re: MP3 Convertion Ravi,   First of all, you will need the LEAD AAC Decoder to open the MP3 source file.   As for the encoders needed: 1) WAV > This depends on what compression you want to use, if any. 2) WMA > LEAD ASF Multiplexer (this only comes with the SDK). 3) AMR > LEAD AMR Encoder. 4) AWB > We do not currently have this codec. If you are interested, we may be able to create one as custom work. 5) MP4 > LEAD AAC Encoder. 6) MMF > We do not currently have this codec. If you are interested, we may be able to create one as custom work. 7) AAC > LEAD AAC Encoder. 8) 3GP > This is a container that can use our LEAD AMR Encoder (and H263 video encoder). For sample codes, please read the help topic "Use ltmmConvert to Perform a Simple File Conversion".
