Unexplainable delay in loading images when used in Citrix environment

Hi All, This is Srikanth. We have been developing a tool which will, for some selections, load images from a folder path and enable the user to zoom or measure certain  portions. We have used the MagGlass and Rubberband features of the Lead Main Control 13.0 to implement these functionalities respectively. We also have another application carrying out the same functionality of loading images with Zoom and Measure features which has been primitively developed using Picture box. When we run these applications we find that the application using the Lead Control is loading the images very fast and is very much memory efficient when compared to the other application. Now, in contrast to the case discussed above, when the same 2 applications are deployed in Citrix 4.5 environment (sort of environment that can allow multiple users to use a application deployed on it by remotely connecting to it), we find that the application using the Picture box is loading images faster than the one using the Lead Control. Also, the load times are considerably large (about 5 to 10 times the load times in local). Can you please elaborate on this unexplainable delay in the load times which only shows up when done remotely. Does this has anything to do with the way you load the images in the Lead Control? The fact that made me think this way is the difference we observed in the load pattern of the images in the 2 controls. I am not sure if this will help you with the solution but Lead control had the loading done vertically and the Picture Box loaded them horizontally (or maybe vice versa but not same). It will be of great help to us if you could throw some light on this.
Build number of DLLs is : 13.0.0.084

There are at least 2 different issues here.

First, the slow loading might be related to where the images are stored. If you run the program on the console of the server itself, do you get the same problem? Also, are the images loaded from a local folder on the server, or from a network share? Please try both and see if there's a speed difference.

Another thing to try is to download the latest v13 patches from our support site, because your build is rather old.

The second issue is rotated images. Does this happen with all image types or only with specific images (such as TIFF, JPEG or Exif)? Please try with a Windows Bitmap (BMP) image. Also, can you put a sample image that gets loaded rotated in a ZIP or RAR file and attach it here?
