06-25-2008, 11:57 pmarazzi@mutuionline.it Joined on 11-29-2004 Posts 20 Wrong dll version RasterImage 14.5.0.75 I have downloaded the LeadToolsWin32.exe with the 14.5.0.75 version and I'm experiencing problems when I try to drag-and-drop a RasterImageViewer to a form. I get this error: "Operation is not valid due to the current state of the object". If I check the version of the files in the V20 folder the dll files have the same version as before (in my case 71). If I create an object of type RasterImageViewer programatically (in code) and I add using the Add method of the form controls it creates me the viewer, but I cannot use this approach. If I take the dll from the V11 folder I can create the viewer by drag-and-dropping but why I cannot rely only on the V20 folder dlls? Any suggestions helps. Thanks in advance!    Report

06-25-2008, 12:22 GregR Joined on 05-31-2006 In House Posts 1,502 Re: Wrong dll version RasterImage 14.5.0.75 Sounds like you are having the same problem mentioned in this post: http://support.leadtools.com/SupportPortal/cs/forums/20286/ShowPost.aspx This problem has been fixed in 14.5.0.75, so you need to make sure you are using that build.  It sounds like you may have already downloaded the patch for 14.5.0.75, so make sure that your projects reference path and/or references are pointing to the right versions of the dlls. In case you haven't gotten the patch yet, please send an email to support@leadtools.com in order to get the download instructions for the latest patch.  For verification purposes, I need you to include the following information:   1. The company you work for 2. The LEADTOOLS serial number(s) you own (if you are evaluating, just say so and we'll send you the eval patch) 3. The name(s) of the developer(s) using the serial number 4. I added the reference in the project and also the controls from the toolbox after executing the "new" 75 version. And the link you pointed to is unsolved so I'm still waiting for a direction in this problem. Grazie!    Report

06-25-2008, 13:53 GregR Joined on 05-31-2006 In House Posts 1,502 Re: Wrong dll version RasterImage 14.5.0.75 I checked the link to the forum post and it is correct.  Make sure that you are copy/pasting the entire URL and not adding or subtracting anything from it. As far as I know, we don't have an EXE which patches to build 75, only .zip files which you download from our FTP. When you right-click and view the properties of the dlls, is the biuld number 14.5.0.75?  If not, then you need to get the patch and use the proper dlls. If your compiler says that the DLLs are build 71, then you are not referencing the correct DLLs.  Please try removing all of your references, cleaning the solution, deleting any reference paths in your project settings, and readding and rebuilding the project with the 14.5.0.75 dlls. But after executing the downloaded file I sill have the old dlls. Could you please give me the link from where I can download from FTP !? I meantime I will look for the FTP address for myself. Did you just find the patches or did a support agent give you the instructions?  The licensed patches are password protected, so if you did not receive the patching instructions from one of our support agents then you won't be able to get the DLLs inside of the zip files.  If you need the passwords for the latest licensed patches for 14.5, please send an email to support@leadtools.com with the verification information I mentioned in my previous post.  This MUST be carried out via email because not everyone is entitled to the licensed patches.
