LeadTools Error "Invalid file format"
Reply Quote

Some of my users will get this error when trying to veiw a Tiff image or any image throught the LeadTools Viewer for the first time. The fix is to unregister ltocx12n.ocx and re-register the same ocx. This seems to occur when other products are installed like  HP photo management tools are installed on the users PC.

Is there a fix to this problem?

Make sure you have the latest build of the LEADTOOLS DLLs (you can get the patch from support.leadtools.com), and install and register the OCX and its dependent DLLs in System32, not in your application's folder.
